Weekly Update Week 16
Happy All-Star Break! This week was not the most exciting week in the MLB, but leaves each team in an interesting place at the half.
AL East- MLB does not schedule very fairly. The Red Sox played the absolute easiest team in baseball and the Yankees played one of the hardest. I would count out Toronto and Baltimore now, but Tampa is still very alive.
AL Central-Detroit looks pretty solid this week, but will have to work hard to retain its top spot. The Twins are very strong, and the White Sox are not too shabby. The Royals are pretty much a triple A team and the Indians are just misunderstood.
AL West- The Angels are a very good ball club, but the Rangers are growing into a new rival out west. The Mariners are still in the running, but are an unlikely contender to win the division. The A's have no chance.
NL East-How the heck did the Mets go from first to being 6.5 games out? That division is very rocky.
NL Central-Everybody in NL Central is pretty good, but I think the Cubs can really save things and steal the division or at least the wild card.
NL West-The Dodgers are the current best team in baseball with or without Manny no one in that division is too good either.
